Good hosting, but extremely unprofessional support
The hosting service itself has been stable and reasonably priced, so I have no major complaints about the VPS infrastructure. Unfortunately, my experience with technical support was terrible. I contacted support because my VPS IP had become unreachable directly from Russian networks, while the server remained accessible through a foreign network. I provided detailed diagnostics and expected confirmation of the network status or information about replacing the IP address. Instead, support representative Radu Dumitrescu responded with condescending rhetorical questions and irrelevant political remarks. I received neither a technical explanation nor a practical solution. The hosting product is good, but the company seriously needs to improve the professionalism and communication standards of its technical support.
UPD: It turns out the complaints department and the technical support department are staffed by the very same person—meaning he takes complaints filed against himself. After he saw my complaint, they terminated our business relationship. A real shame.
Refunds are only possible via cryptocurrency. Iphoster.ru, were you actually hacked, or is this just standard operating procedure?
